Jodi Reeb
| What Jodi Reeb offers her mentees: Jodi will provide art direction, accountability, marketing suggestions, and (maybe assignments) and/or artistic feedback. You will bring your own unique ideas and voice, questions and goals to the meetings. She hopes to inspire and encourage you to push your work further by challenging yourself as an artist to build a body or work, focus, define an artist's statement and develop career strategies. Jodi will also help you market your work and use social media platforms such as Instagram for promotion. About Jodi
Jodi received a BFA degree in Fine Arts from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design (MCAD) where she instructed advanced printmaking for over 9 years. Jodi has been a full-time working artist and teacher in Minneapolis for over 28 years. She has taught printmaking, acrylic and encaustic painting as well as book arts classes/workshops at colleges and art centers regionally and internationally, including teaching encaustic workshops at the Essence of Mulranny in Ireland, Zijidelings in Netherlands, and Arrowmont School of Craft, Penland and Haystack Schools of Art. She has been an online video instructor with Painting with Fire for 4 years and has taught workshops at the International Encaustic Conference in Provincetown, Massachusets for the past 7 years. She teaches monthly workshops in her Minneapolis studio and offers art study coaching to artists for professional development. Jodi is a Core Teaching Artist for R&F Handmade Encaustic Paints, an Ambassador Artist for Ampersand Art, for Silverbrush Ltd., and a GOLDEN Artist Educator. |
