MICHELE RANDALL

2022 - Artist Residency Grant

Each year, IEA collaborating with Castle Hill Center for the Arts to offer one two-week residency at Edgewood Farms in Truro, Massachusetts.  It is a fantastic opportunity for artists who are prepared to make use of a residency program to advance their careers. This scholarship is a competitive scholarship, and the applications will be juried.  All IEA members in good standing are eligible to apply.

For information about this residency, go to Castle Hill/Opportunities (Edgewood Farms Residency).  The scholarship will cover the two-week tuition at Castle Hill, and will be paid directly to Castle Hill.  The winning artist is responsible for their own transportation, materials, and meals while at Castle Hill.

IEA will make recommendations from selected applications and the final decision of the winning artist will be made by Castle Hill.

In the event the winning artist cannot accept the award, it will be given to another applicant.

There is a limit of one scholarship or grant per member in any two-year period. Winners agree to submit a written report to IEA with images within 30 days of the end of their residency, and agree that IEA and Castle Hill may use the report and images in their publications and communications to members.  Winners also agree to maintain paid membership in IEA  in the year following their scholarship year.

The grant application deadline has passed.  We will offer another residency grant in the fall of 2023.

We are very pleased to be able to collaborate with Castle Hill to offer this residency!
